Description: Job Title: PeopleSoft Developer (Finance)
Location: Saint Paul, MN (Hybrid - Onsite as needed (1 day per week) + Remote)
Duration: 23+ Months (Possibility of extension)
Work Schedule Hours: 40 hours per week
Position Summary: The consultant will provide technical development and production support for PeopleSoft Financial systems, working in collaboration with an existing PeopleSoft technical and functional team. This role requires strong experience in PeopleSoft Financials development, troubleshooting, and system integration support.
Key Responsibilities: - Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve PeopleSoft Financial application issues
- Perform root cause analysis and provide long-term technical solutions
- Design, develop, test, and deploy PeopleSoft customizations using PeopleTools technologies, including:
- Application Engine
- PeopleCode
- SQR
- Component Interfaces
- Integration Broker
- Fluid/UI components
- Support batch processing, system integrations, and third-party interfaces
- Perform data fixes, SQL performance tuning, and database-level analysis
- Assist with system upgrades, patches, and regulatory updates
- Participate in code reviews, migration processes, and release management
- Maintain and update technical documentation
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure adherence to development standards and industry best practices
- Provide production support and work through ticketing systems with timely updates
Minimum Qualifications (Must Have): - Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.A.), preferably in Computer Science or a related field
- 10+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft Developer supporting PeopleSoft Financials
- Strong hands-on experience with PeopleTools and PeopleSoft Financial modules
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) - Extensive experience working in the Public Sector
- Experience with ERP implementations or migrations from PeopleSoft to new ERP platforms
- Experience supporting large, complex ERP environments
