Technical Lead – PeopleSoft
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Lead to oversee the technical design, development, and integration of Time & Labor (T&L) and Absence Management (AM) modules within a PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 environment.
This role will lead system architecture, integrations, and technical delivery, ensuring scalable, compliant, and high-performing solutions aligned with business and functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead technical design, architecture, and implementation of PeopleSoft solutions.
· Develop and review configurations, customizations, and integrations.
· Build and support integrations with Payroll and HR systems using Integration Broker.
· Ensure adherence to PeopleSoft development standards and best practices.
· Support environment management, code migrations, and release activities.
· Troubleshoot technical issues and lead defect resolution.
· Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
· Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 7+ years of PeopleSoft technical experience.
· Strong expertise in:
o PeopleTools
o Application Engine
o SQR
o PeopleCode
o Integration Broker
· Experience configuring/customizing Time & Labor and Absence Management modules.
· Proven experience developing integrations with Payroll and HR systems.
· Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and PUM images.
· Familiarity with Oracle database technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in large-scale or public sector implementations.
· Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
· Experience supporting full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementations.
