Job Description:
Client seeks an IT Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives.
Core Skills and Responsibilities:
Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of project sponsors and key stakeholders
Lead end-to-end AI implementation projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and organizational goals
Build and maintain strong relationships with external clients, serving as the primary point of contact for project communications
Manage cross-functional teams of varying sizes across different projects, adapting leadership style to team dynamics
Experience working with teams of Data Scientists and Data Engineers
Develop and track project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Polished executive communication skills, comfortable collaborating with Sr IT Leaders and Business Executives to define, plan, and deliver complex IT projects

PM will use their professional judgment and previous experience to lead diverse project teams and deliver business value. PM has process-oriented, tactical, and reporting responsibilities, which are necessary but secondary in importance.
Manages end-to-end delivery of 2–4 large-scale, complex IT–AI projects at any given time
Leads IT project teams composed of both Teammates and Guest Teammates.
Collaborates with senior stakeholders within IT and internal business partners to clearly articulate scope boundaries and quantify business value to be delivered
Represents the project in various governance meetings and inter-departmental forums
In collaboration with the Project Leadership Team, PM composes and publishes the project charter. PM creates and maintains the project schedule. PM submits and manages project change requests (PCRs) as needed. PM develops and implements the project communication plan. PM regularly reports project status.
PM is the single accountable party to manage and report upon the project budget. Validates financial forecasts from lane leads. Tracks actual spend, accruals, and forecast spend. Publishes monthly budget forecasts. Manages variance between planned and actual spend. Manages budget contingency. Approves project labor. In partnership with lane leads, creates and maintains the project staffing plan.
Proactively manages project risks and issues. Identifies and resolves blockers raised by the project team. Appropriately escalates project issues to Project Sponsor, PMO Leadership, and ultimately to IT Senior Leadership as needed to keep projects on track.
Education and Qualifications:

4+ years of experience managing IT and AI implementation projects
Strong track record of successful project delivery in technology implementations
Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
PMP certification or Agile certification
Experience using Agile/iterative project management platforms (Jira, Confluence)
Experience using a PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) tool (Apptio Target Process)
Experience in financial management (Apptio One, Excel)
