Main Sail LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Lead to lead day-to-day delivery of an SAP and AutoTime shop floor implementation for a large, regulated commercial manufacturing organization. This role is responsible for orchestrating cross-functional delivery across SAP functional, technical, AutoTime, data, and testing workstreams while maintaining schedule integrity, delivery discipline, and stakeholder alignment. The Project Manager / Scrum Lead will serve as the central point of execution accountability, ensuring the program progresses predictably from stabilization through go-live.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day delivery leadership for the SAP and AutoTime implementation, serving as the execution focal point for the program
- Manage the integrated master schedule, dependencies, RAID log, and formal change control process
- Lead Agile delivery ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Maintain and govern the program Kanban board, ensuring work is clearly prioritized, visible, and progressing
- Coordinate activities across SAP functional, technical/ABAP, AutoTime, data, and testing resources
- Prepare and deliver program status reports and executive-level updates
- Drive phase exit readiness, milestone acceptance, and Go / No-Go decision support
- Ensure quality gates, documentation standards, and acceptance criteria are met prior to phase transitions
- Proactively identify delivery risks and execution bottlenecks, driving timely mitigation actions
- Serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders, system integrators, and technical teams
Required Experience
- 12+ years of SAP program or project management experience
- Proven experience restarting, stabilizing, and completing paused or distressed SAP implementations
- Hands-on experience leading Agile or hybrid Agile delivery in manufacturing or regulated environments
- Experience managing fixed-price SAP delivery engagements with formal change control
- Strong stakeholder management skills across business, IT, and executive audiences
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-vendor delivery teams
Preferred Additional Experience (Nice to Have - Not Mandatory)
- SAP ECC shop floor or manufacturing implementations
- Experience coordinating timekeeping or labor system integrations with SAP
- Familiarity with quality gates, audit readiness, and compliance-driven delivery models
- Scrum Master or Agile certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent)
