Job#: 3034251 Job Description: SSIS/.NET Developer (SQL Server)
Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on SSIS/.NET Developer to support and enhance business-critical data pipelines and scheduled jobs. This is an individual contributor role focused on SQL Server, SSIS, and backend .NET development, with expectations for immediate delivery and minimal ramp-up. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in SSIS package development, SQL Server, and C# to contribute in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and support SSIS-based SQL batch jobs, ETL processes, and data movement pipelines.
- Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and reliability.
- Contribute to backend logic using .NET / C# to support batch workflows.
- Support batch execution, including monitoring and issue resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis for data or job failures.
- Document SSIS packages, batch logic, and data flows.
- Collaborate with QA, production support, and full-time engineering staff.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with SSIS package development and support.
- Expertise in SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Experience building and supporting SQL-based batch jobs.
- Working knowledge of .NET / C# used in backend or batch workflows.
- Experience supporting scheduled and automated jobs in production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for batch failures and data issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with job schedulers such as SQL Agent, Control-M, or Autosys.
- Experience working with legacy batch jobs.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is between $50.00 and $65.00 per hour.
