ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE

Medix is currently hiring for a PACS Administrator for a long-term, remote contracting opportunity. Our client is a large regional health system embarking on an Enterprise-wide PACS upgrade. They are seeking this PACS Administrator to backfill day to day operations, which allows their internal staff to engage fully in the implementation lifecycle.

This contract will require on-site travel for several weeks at the start of the project for training and knowledge-transfer, then will be fully remote, working Central Time hours.

This organization's Enterprise Imaging team covers both Radiology and Cardiology workflows. Products include GE PACS, ImageGRID, Fluency, Viewpoint, Magview, TeraRecon, ISEV, and other Vascular Imaging products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing the day to day PACS Administration and operations as part of an Enterprise Radiology/Cardiology Imaging team


• Supporting operational issues and incident tickets for GE PACS and Candelis ImageGRID


• Troubleshooting image cross-over issues via DICOM / Laurel Bridge.


• Troubleshooting and supporting various issues with 3rd party modality imaging apps like Viewpoint, TeraRecon, Magview, etc


• Taking and managing incident tickets

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Willing/Able to travel onsite for training


• 5+ years as a PACS Administrator


• Experience across both Radiology and Cardiology modalities


• Experience with GE PACS Preferred.


• Candelis ImageGRID Mini PACS a plus


• Dictation: M*Modal Fluency


• 3rd Party Modality Apps: Viewpoint, Magview, TeraRecon, etc


• General understanding of Network/Server infrastructure
