Snowflake Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Snowflake Developer in Boston, MA.

Key Responsibilities:
* Snowflake Developer will monitor and optimize queries, resource usage, and storage
* Manage user roles, permissions, and data security
* Support data loading, transformation, and extraction processes
* Resolve Snowflake issues, including performance and query problems
* Maintain system documentation and provide performance/usage reports
* As a Snowflake Developer, you will partner with data engineers, analysts, and IT teams to ensure smooth operations
* Stay current on Snowflake updates and recommend system improvements

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field
* 5+ years in data architecture, engineering, or database development
* 2+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience (modeling, tuning, security)
* Experience with GitHub, ETL/ELT tools, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
* Experience or exposure to AI tools
* Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and analytics
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Snowflake integration with BI/reporting tools is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
