A bit about us:

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is a contract to hire position where you will be responsible for diagnosing, testing, repairing, and maintaining various avionics and electronics equipment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our aviation equipment. With your expertise in FAA compliance and 14 CFR aviation regulations, you will contribute to our ongoing commitment to quality and excellence. This role requires a problem solver who can troubleshoot complex issues and ensure all parts meet FAA 8130-3 and C of C requirements.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, test, repair and maintain a variety of avionics and electronics equipment used in the construction industry.
  • Inspect incoming parts, ensuring they meet FAA 8130-3 and C of C standards.
  • Conduct electrical testing on a variety of equipment, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with FAA Part 145 and 14 CFR aviation regulations.
  • Prepare detailed teardown reports, documenting all work performed and any issues identified.
  • Use RSQCM and CMM systems to manage and track work orders, parts, and maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain a high level of quality control, ensuring all work meets or exceeds company and industry standards.
  • Work closely with other team members, sharing your expertise and learning from theirs to continuously improve our processes and outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Aviation Electronics Technician or a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience with diagnosing, testing, and repairing avionics and electronics.
  • Thorough knowledge of FAA Part 145, 14 CFR aviation regulations, and FAA compliance.
  • Experience with FAA 8130-3 and C of C requirements.
  • Proficiency in electrical testing.
  • Experience with RSQCM and CMM systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to prepare detailed teardown reports.
