Job Details

A Fort Lauderdale-based manufacturer operating an FAA Part 145 Repair Station is seeking experienced Repair Station Technicians to join a high-volume returns and overhaul department on a contract basis. This is an onsite role with an early shift schedule (6:30am to 3:00pm) and immediate need due to a significant backlog of product returns.

The Role
You will perform repair and overhaul duties in compliance with FAA regulations, the Repair Station Quality Control Manual (RSQCM), and Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM). This is a hands-on technical role with accountability for quality, documentation, and return-to-service certification.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot products to the component and board level
Inspect, test, diagnose, and repair electronics for return to service
Inspect incoming parts and review supporting documentation including FAA Form 8130-3 and Certificates of Conformance
Certify conformity of products and complete all required return-to-service documentation
Ensure quality of work performed by non-certified technicians
Complete test results, teardown reports, and traceability documentation
Maintain compliance with all 14 CFR Aviation Regulations
Participate in required annual recurrent training

What They're Looking For

Background in aviation, military electronics, or commercial electronics repair required
Familiarity with FAA regulations and Part 145 repair station operations strongly preferred
Experience troubleshooting and repairing to the board/component level
Ability to read and work from Component Maintenance Manuals and technical documentation
Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
Comfortable working an early shift in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Compensation & Schedule

Pay rate: $24.00 - $27.00/hour depending on experience
Onsite, Fort Lauderdale, FL
Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm
