Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce Service Cloud

Lead ongoing support for both new and existing Salesforce Service and Sales Cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer with a proven track record of implementing Salesforce Service Cloud, integrating them into large enterprise solutions. This engineer will serve as a service delivery and sales subject matter expert, contributing to technical design, development, and testing while collaborating with various partners and service providers. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for thriving in a highly matrixed environment, alongside the required Salesforce Service Cloud technical expertise. The candidate should be flexible and must be an engaging team player.

Requirements

Leverage Salesforce Service expertise to act as technical architect and hands-on Salesforce engineer

Must not be afraid to ask questions or adverse to being asked questions; willing to share experiences and explain alternative solutions

Deliver technical solutions with focus on security, authentication, scalability and performance

Ability to work independently or on a team

Serve as lead Salesforce developer, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards and coaching and mentoring team members

Strong communication and collaboration skills within a team environment

Ability to work in an Enterprise Agile/Transitioning development environment

Review and approve design documents, code reviews, test plans, and deployment plans

Make informed decisions on architectural design, considering tradeoffs, benefits, and recommendations

Provides consultation for routine and complex systems development

Coordinates with Operations and Infrastructure Delivery teams for deployment and production support activities

Collaborate with business analysts and product managers to understand requirements and translate into solutions

Education and Experience Required

Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience and/or certification

6+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge of Salesforce administration and development; security, standard objects, reports/dashboards, Knowledge, data management, and sandbox environments

Minimum 3-5+ years of experience with consuming web services

1-2+ years of experience Lightning framework (Aura, LWC)

Strong understanding of lightning flows and trigger framework

Technical Requirements:

Expertise in programming languages and methodologies (e.g., Java and Apex)

Solid understanding of web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, and/or Ajax

Proficiency in integrating Salesforce with other applications using Connected Apps and APIs

Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, other)

Strong understanding of lightning flows and trigger framework

Expertise in programming languages and methodologies (e.g., Java and Apex)

Other Qualifications

An unbridled curiosity and interest in problem solving and iterative development

Salesforce developer/architect/admin certifications including Salesforce Einstein certifications are pluses

Experience in development of hotel property applications

Leadership experience in a sourced environment
