Salesforce Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Okemos, MI that is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and maintain solutions on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on development skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to implement scalable, high-quality solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions across multiple Clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud)
* Develop custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Components (LWC/Aura), and Salesforce automation tools (Flows, Triggers, Process Builder)
* Implement and maintain integrations with external systems and data sources using APIs, ETL tools, or cloud data integration platforms
* Write and maintain test classes, unit tests, and automated tests to validate Salesforce functionality
* Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on development quality, maintainability, and best practices
* Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
* Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes for efficient deployments using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Copado, or Bitbucket
* Maintain documentation for development artifacts, configurations, and integrations
* Ensure compliance with platform limits, security standards, and development best practices

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce development across multiple Clouds
* Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Components (LWC/Aura), and Salesforce automation tools (Flows, Triggers)
* Experience implementing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs or ETL/data integration tools
* Knowledge of Salesforce data model, security architecture, sharing & visibility, and platform best practices
* Experience with CI/CD tools and Salesforce DevOps processes
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a development team

Salesforce-Specific Qualifications:
* Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator)
* Proven experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Health Cloud
* Hands-on experience with Apex programming, Lightning Components (LWC/Aura), Flows, Triggers, and other Salesforce automation capabilities
* Experience with real-time and batch integrations using APIs or ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, IICS, or similar)
* Familiarity with Salesforce best practices, support mechanisms, and platform limitations
* Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks applicable to Salesforce implementations (HIPAA, FedRAMP, or similar)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
