Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong healthcare finance experience and handson exposure to SAP Finance systems. This role supports finance, accounting, actuarial, and regulatory initiatives within a healthcare payer environment, translating business and regulatory needs into clear requirements, epics, and features for IT delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for healthcare finance initiatives
• Translate finance and regulatory needs into epics, features, and functional requirements
• Support mandated and regulatory projects impacting finance, payments, and claims systems
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, actuarial, compliance, and IT teams
• Develop business process flows and support endtoend finance workflows
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and SAP Finance system teams

Required Qualifications (MustHave)

• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience
• Strong experience in healthcare payer finance or healthcare accounting
• Handson experience working with SAP Finance modules
• Understanding of healthcare finance domains, including:
• Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
• Financial Planning & Analysis (budgeting/forecasting requirements level)
• Accounts Payable, Disbursements, Treasury
• MonthEnd Close & General Ledger
• Finance Master Data
• Provider Capitation, Payments & Accounting
• Pharmacy CCO
• Medical CCO
• Experience supporting regulatory or mandated initiatives
• Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications (NicetoHave)

• Exposure to actuarial and risk adjustment finance processes
• Experience with Medicaid or healthcare regulatory reporting
• Knowledge of claims payment cycles (medical and pharmacy) from a finance perspective
• Experience with new market implementations in healthcare
