Overview:
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading healthcare technology organization developing innovative software that helps healthcare organizations simplify complex financial and administrative processes.
Operating within a highly connected healthcare ecosystem, their technology supports critical business workflows at significant scale. Reliability, accuracy, and continuous innovation are essential to the way they operate, and they continue to invest in modern technologies and platforms that create a more scalable and efficient healthcare experience.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our client is preparing to launch a major modernization initiative within a mission-critical enterprise integration environment supporting hundreds of healthcare workflows.
The initiative will involve migrating a large portfolio of complex healthcare integrations to Mirth Connect and rebuilding the transformation logic behind inbound, outbound, and file-based interfaces.
With integrations processing critical healthcare and transactional data, successful migration isn't simply about rebuilding interfaces. Each converted workflow must be rigorously validated to ensure data, transformations, and expected behavior remain accurate from end to end.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for QA / Validation Engineers with healthcare integration experience to help build and execute the validation strategy behind this migration.
This isn't a traditional UI-focused QA role. You'll be validating complex healthcare interfaces and data transformations, developing repeatable testing approaches, comparing expected versus converted outputs, and helping ensure migrated integrations behave exactly as intended before moving into production.
You'll work directly with the integration engineering team throughout the migration, making QA an integral part of determining when each converted workflow is truly ready to move forward.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Develop and maintain golden sample datasets for integration validation
- Build and enhance comparison and diff tooling to identify discrepancies between existing and converted interfaces
- Design and execute regression testing across migrated healthcare integrations
- Validate HL7 and X12 messages, transformations, mappings, and outputs
- Develop test harnesses and repeatable validation processes for a high-volume migration
- Analyze output differences and determine whether discrepancies represent defects or expected behavior
- Partner closely with Mirth engineers throughout development, testing, and remediation
- Document defects and provide clear technical details to engineering teams
- Help automate repeatable validation processes wherever possible
- Support migration readiness and final validation prior to production cutover
