| | - The primary responsibility of this role is to be the subject matter expert within the CPO Financial Reporting Development team responsible for collaborating with and acting as a liaison to multiple and diverse business groups and technologies.
- The person in this key role will participate in multiple technology and/or business releases and work closely with the business units and IT partners to create, identify, and evaluate deliverables such as user stories, business process models, user manuals, test plans and test results.
- Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting Tech Lead, the person in this role will support the department's objective to design, development, and innovation of Financial Reporting and Analytics solutions.
- Leveraging our organization s financial data, we aim to provide timely and accurate financial reporting.
- This role partners closely with external suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders from our US locations and across multiple Toyota company entities and departments.
- The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate with all levels across the organization.

What you ll be doing | DnA Financial System Subject Matter Expertise - Create, evaluate, and present technical business cases, "as-is" and "to-be" business processes, "current" and "future" technology integration design recommendations to colleagues, management, business customers and vendors.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of Oracle HEPM HFM applications and tools to support financial and operational reporting.
- Build a solid understanding of TFS data and technologies. Requires hands-on experience of managing metadata, creation of accounts, entities, and dimensions, designing new reporting and using SmartView for ad-hoc analysis.
- Maintain and develop HFR Reports and hfsfiles.
- Provide support to user community through troubleshooting, report development and training.
- Works with TFS business partners to identify and document the financial data requirements and reporting metrics.
- Works with internal Support team to transition enhancements into production environment and ensure adherence to change management policies and procedures.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
DnT/Accounting Relationship Building - Partner with our accounting stakeholders to prepare Monthly/Quarterly/Annual system enhancements and fixes.
- Contribute to the fulfillment of internal and external audit requests for SOX & ITCompliance and quarterly and annual financial audits. Develops new and maintains existing SOX & ITcontrols for consolidations and reporting systems.
- Facilitate business process design/redesign sessions and create documentation, as needed for new methodology.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement process improvements for utilization of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets in Finance to enhance internal controls and improve efficiencies.
- Develop integration patterns for multiple OAuth2.0 grant types including Authorization Code (with PKCE), Client Credentials (API-API) etc
- Integrate access token validation, scopes and claims-based access controls into reusable framework or gateway components.
- Design and implement RBAC/ABAC/Entitlements models within the framework for granular access controls enforcement.
- Deliver SDKs, documentation, sample projects and internal training for engineering teams to accelerate adoption
- Continuously improve frameworks and processes to accelerate delivery and maintain high quality across diverse teams.
- Mentor and guide engineers on best practices in API development, API standards, automation, and production deployment.
- Partner with leadership to attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent.
- Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community.
- Understand, contribute to and implement enterprise architecture standards.
