Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated and reliable Entry-Level Low Voltage Technicians to support a growing data center project in Bridgeport, AL. This is a great opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience or trade school backgrounds looking to grow their careers in structured cabling and fiber installation. The primary scope of work will involve pulling and installing fiber optic cabling inside a pre-existing data center environment.
Top Skills Required:
  • Experience with low-voltage cabling or related electrical/construction trades
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Cable terminations
    • Routers and switches
    • Patch panels
    • Cable testing
  • Strong willingness to learn, reliability, and a positive attitude

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pull and route fiber optic and low-voltage cabling throughout the facility
  • Assist with cable dressing, organization, and management
  • Perform basic terminations and punch-downs
  • Support installation of network infrastructure (routers, switches, patch panels)
  • Assist with testing and troubleshooting cabling systems
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Fiber optic experience (pulling, dressing, cable management)
  • Experience with:
    • Punch-downs
    • Cable installation
    • Cable testing
  • Familiarity with structured cabling standards

Qualifications:
  • Previous low-voltage or construction experience preferred
  • Trade school candidates encouraged to apply (references from instructors or administration are a plus)
  • Strong work ethic and ability to follow direction
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Work Environment:
  • Work will take place inside a pre-existing data center facility
  • Customer will be present on-site
  • Indoor work environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Bridgeport, AL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
