Role: Solution Architect (Oracle CPQ Experience)

Role Overview:
Technical design authority for the HID Oracle Fusion program. Owns the end-to-end architecture across all modules Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, WMS, PLM, PPM, CPQ, and Subscription Management and holds sign-off on all design decisions before configuration begins. Single point of technical accountability for integration
architecture, data migration approach, security design, and the disposition of legacy systems including HFM, Vertex, and ZUORA.
What You Will Do
Design authority: Own end-to-end Oracle Fusion architecture across all deployed modules; review and approve all workstream design documents before configuration begins; resolve cross-workstream design conflicts.
Integration architecture: Define Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Boomi integration patterns approve integration specifications; set technical standards for all integration developers.
Data architecture: Define data migration approach for 29 legal entities; set standards for EBS extraction, data transformation, and cutover validation across all data domains.
Legacy system disposition: Define and document disposition strategy for HFM (transitioning to OneStream), Vertex (Bridge OneSource evaluation), ZUORA (retiring to Fusion Subscription Management), and FPX (retired to Fusion CPQ).
Technical risk: Own the technical risk register; identify and mitigate architecture-level risks including customisation avoidance, tax architecture, SPED integration, and HFM-OneStream coexistence.
Standards: Establish configuration standards, naming conventions, and security design principles across all
workstreams; conduct design reviews with offshore build team before SIT entry.

Design Freeze achieved with zero unresolved architectural conflicts across all modules.
Fewer than 5 architecture-level defects requiring design rework during system testing.
Vertex disposition, HFM-OneStream coexistence, and SPED architecture fully documented and approved before build phase begins.
Zero unapproved customisations introduced across the program.
What You Need to Have Done Before
12 18 years of Oracle ERP architecture with deep Oracle Fusion Financials and Supply Chain hands-on expertise.
Experience designing Oracle Fusion integration architecture using OIC and Boomi.
Prior lead architect role on a multi-country Oracle Fusion global rollout.
Strong understanding of EBS-to-Fusion migration patterns, legacy system disposition, and coexistence strategies
