Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite – Shipley Building, 1970 West Broad Street)

Job Type: Long-Term Contract

Interview Process: 15-min Teams intro + Onsite final interview

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to design modern, intuitive, and user-centered interfaces for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with business users, project managers, and development teams in an Agile environment, driving product improvements and delivering high-quality user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and engineering teams to gather UI requirements
  • Design wireframes, prototypes, and interactive UI solutions
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and design validation
  • Create and maintain a Design System library for consistency and reuse
  • Work across the full product lifecycle: discovery → design → delivery
  • Ensure UI/UX follows best practices and security standards
  • Collaborate with developers for smooth UI handoff and backend integration
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrum, backlog grooming, etc.)
  • Lead discussions, design workshops, and contribute to product strategy
  • Mentor team members and provide technical guidance

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of UI/UX design experience
  • Strong experience in Agile methodology
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Fluent UI
  • Experience with Figma or similar design tools
  • Strong knowledge of user-centered design & site architecture
  • Experience designing applications from start to finish
  • Hands-on experience with ASP.NET / C# / MVC
  • Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • UI/UX Certification
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core MVC applications
  • Experience creating user journey maps & workflow diagrams
  • Knowledge of secure UI design practices

Additional Requirements

  • Must present a portfolio during the interview
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Background check required
