Position: Azure Architect

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 12+ months Contract

Job Description:

Major Duties:

Provide planning, development, monitoring, and delivery of services.
Application architectural oversight for new or enhanced solutions.
Support design, development, testing, deployment.
Identify automation & process improvements.
Ensure systems maintain availability standards.
Act as multi-disciplinary expert.
Execute strategic direction of business function.
Lead complex multi-disciplinary initiatives.
Liaison with business teams to improve efficiency and productivity.

Knowledge & Skills:

Strong communication.
Information security, SDLC, database, Azure standards expertise.
Azure product awareness.
Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
Leadership & organization.
Experience with J2EE stack, PCF, DB modeling.
Identity, Access, Certification, Workflows, Provisioning (AD, LDAP, Exchange).

Education: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
