ServiceNow Developer - Software Asset Management

Seeking a ServiceNow Developer with deep experience in Software AssetManagement (SAM Pro) to support an enterprise initiative focused on SoftwareBill of Materials (SBOM) management and the governance of open-source software.This role will be responsible for configuring, developing, and enhancingServiceNow SAM capabilities while supporting integrations, softwarenormalization, discovery data quality, and software compliance processes.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience withServiceNow SAM Pro, software model normalization, Discovery, CMDBrelationships, and integration technologies that enable accurate software assetmanagement at scale.
Primary Responsibilities
· ·Design, configure, and implement solutionswithin ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM Pro).
· ·Support the implementation of SBOM-related datamanagement and open-source software governance processes.
· ·Configure and maintain software normalization,software models, and content service processes.
· ·Develop and enhance ServiceNow workflows,automation, and integrations using Integration Hub.
· ·Support software reconciliation, entitlementmanagement, and software compliance activities.
· ·Collaborate with CMDB, Discovery, and AssetManagement teams to improve software license visibility and accuracy.
· ·Configure and maintain integrations withsoftware inventory sources and endpoint management platforms.
· ·Develop and maintain business rules, flows,scripted processes, and custom applications where required.
· ·Participate in solution design, testing,deployment, and operational support activities.
· ·Create technical documentation and knowledgetransfer materials.
Preferred Qualifications
- ·5+ years of ServiceNow development and implementation experience.
- ·3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Software Asset ManagementProfessional (SAM Pro).
- ·ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ·ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ·ServiceNow Certified Software Asset Manager (preferred).
- ·Strong JavaScript development skills within the ServiceNow platform.
- ·Experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub and REST/SOAP integrations.
- ·Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB data management.
- ·Experience with software model normalization and software assetreconciliation processes.
- ·Understanding software entitlements, publishers, licensing metrics, andcompliance management.
- ·Experience working with SDLC/Development practices in an enterpriseenvironment.
- Experience working in an LFI or financial industry.
