Project Leadership: Oversee multiple large, complex tech projects, managing scope, budget, timeline, and resources from start to finish.
Strategy & Roadmapping: Define technical direction, create roadmaps, and align technology solutions with business goals, often involving APIs, UCaaS, or core broadband tech (DOCSIS/Fiber).
Team Collaboration: Lead engineering teams, mentor staff, foster innovation, and bridge gaps between engineering, product, and business units.
Process Improvement: Drive improvements in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), operational maturity, and delivery processes (e.g., creating playbooks).
Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Oversight: Serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring secure, high-quality, scalable code, and managing operational health (SLOs, incident response) for critical services.
Typical Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in project/program management, often with 3+ years in leadership, in telecom, software, or related tech fields.
Technical Skills: Strong grasp of software architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, CI/CD, Identity & Access Management (IAM), or specific broadband tech.
Education: Bachelor''s in CS or equivalent experience. PMP certification a plus.
