Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solution Partner - Manufacturing to drive strategic business transformation initiatives for manufacturing clients using Salesforce solutions and industry best practices.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, helping manufacturing organizations modernize their sales, customer service, dealer/distributor, partner, field service, and customer engagement operations.

The role requires a combination of deep manufacturing industry knowledge, strong Salesforce expertise, business consulting, solution shaping, and executive stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to manufacturing clients, business leaders, and technology executives.
  • Lead strategic digital transformation initiatives leveraging Salesforce.
  • Define manufacturing-specific technology roadmaps, transformation strategies, and business solutions.
  • Conduct business workshops covering:
    • Sales transformation
    • Dealer and distributor management
    • Customer service
    • Field service
    • Partner engagement
    • Customer experience
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and technology transformation in collaboration with account teams.
  • Support pre-sales, solution shaping, proposal development, RFP/RFI responses, and client presentations.
  • Lead solution discussions and translate business requirements into Salesforce-based solutions.
  • Drive executive governance, stakeholder management, and communication throughout engagements.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce architects, delivery teams, business analysts, and implementation teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Promote adoption of Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud and Salesforce industry best practices.
  • Provide thought leadership on manufacturing trends, customer experience, digital innovation, and enterprise transformation.
  • Define and communicate business value, expected outcomes, and transformation benefits.
  • Support strategic pursuits and large-scale Salesforce transformation opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of consulting, industry, technology, or transformation experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing industry processes and business challenges.
  • Hands-on or consulting experience with:
    • Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud
    • Sales Cloud
    • Service Cloud
    • Experience Cloud
    • Field Service
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing business processes, including:
    • Customer management
    • Dealer/distributor operations
    • Sales operations
    • Partner management
    • Field service
    • Supply chain operations
    • Customer engagement
  • Proven experience leading digital transformation programs.
  • Strong business consulting and solution architecture capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
  • Ability to work with business and technology leaders to define strategy and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including sales, product, technology, architecture, and delivery organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud Consultant Certification.
  • Salesforce Administrator, Consultant, or Architect certifications.
  • MBA or equivalent business qualification.
  • Experience with enterprise ERP ecosystems such as:
    • SAP
    • Oracle
    • Microsoft Dynamics
    • Infor
  • Exposure to:
    • Salesforce Data Cloud
    • Revenue Cloud
    • AI / Salesforce AI capabilities
    • Industry-specific Salesforce solutions
  • Experience supporting strategic pursuits, RFPs, proposals, and large transformation deals.
  • Experience with enterprise CRM modernization programs.
  • Experience developing business cases, transformation roadmaps, and executive presentations.
