We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Lead to drive the development and support of our Global Equity Swaps System. This role blends hands-on engineering leadership with deep domain expertise in Synthetic Prime, Portfolio Swaps, and Total Return Swaps. You will work directly with front-office stakeholders including traders, operations, and middle office teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and implement scalable, low-latency, highly responsive Equity Swap trading and Lifecycle system.
  • Lead technical design and re-platforming efforts using best-of-breed technologies.
  • Ensure robust trade processing and lifecycle events handling for swaps and hedge execution workflows.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across all regions, collect and understand business requirements.
  • Manage full SDLC including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and production deployment.
  • Coordinate with global teams on integration points.
  • Maintain and evolve legacy systems while driving modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience with Swaps Trading across US, APAC, EMEA and MENA regions. Strong experience with Swaps Lifecycle Management, Processing of Corporate Actions, Client Reporting, Regulatory reporting and Compliance frameworks.
  • 10+ years of experience in capital markets, preferably in Synthetic Prime Business.
  • 5+ years in a technical lead role.
  • 10+ years of hands-on programming experience in C++/Java/C#, preferably in server-side development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with low-latency systems, multi-threading, and real-time systems.
  • Strong experience in scalable, microservices architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $200,000 - $250,000.
