Job Title: Application Operations & Monitoring Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Onbase Application Operations & Monitoring Engineer to support
enterprise applications, file management processes, and project-driven initiatives.
This role is responsible for ensuring application stability, proactive monitoring, and operational efficiency
across production environments using modern observability tools such as Dynatrace.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day operational support for business-critical applications in a production environment
Manage and support file transfer and file management workflows (ingestion, processing, delivery, and error handling)
Monitor application health using Dynatrace and enterprise monitoring tools, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of issues
Perform incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management to prevent recurrence
Support and execute project-based initiatives, including system upgrades, migrations, and platform enhancements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Infrastructure, Network, Development, and Vendor teams) to resolve complex issues
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational documentation
Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and change management processes
Participate in on-call rotation and support high-priority production incidents as needed
Required Qualifications
3 7+ years of experience in Application Support / Application Operations (AppOps)
Hands-on experience with application monitoring tools (Dynatrace preferred)
Strong understanding of file transfer mechanisms (FTP/SFTP, batch processing, file lifecycle management)
Experience supporting applications hosted on Windows Server environments
Knowledge of SQL Server or relational databases (basic querying, troubleshooting connectivity)
Experience working in project-driven environments (upgrades, migrations, implementations)
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise platforms (IIS, middleware, or vendor applications)
Exposure to automation/scripting (PowerShell)
Experience with load balancers, web services, or API monitoring
Knowledge of log analysis and performance tuning
Key Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
