Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Augusta, Maine, on a long-term contract basis. This role involves overseeing the implementation of a child and behavioral health case management system, ensuring the successful delivery of project goals within established timeframes and quality standards. The position will require occasional onsite presence and offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful initiatives in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale technology projects in enterprise environments.
Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure alignment on project goals, roles, and responsibilities.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and communication strategies to manage risks and issues.
Identify and engage stakeholders, ensuring their needs are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
Translate business objectives into defined project scopes, deliverables, and measurable success criteria.
Monitor project quality by conducting reviews, obtaining approvals, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Oversee the documentation and management of functional and non-functional business requirements.
Coordinate testing and implementation phases to ensure requirements are met and solutions are delivered effectively.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to foster collaboration and achieve strategic goals.
Maintain regular reporting mechanisms to communicate project progress and results to stakeholders.
Requirements
Proven experience managing large-scale technology projects, preferably in enterprise or government environments.
Strong ability to work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated expertise in project planning, execution, and delivery.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to align resources and support project objectives.
Familiarity with business requirement documentation and quality management practices.
Experience with child and behavioral health systems is a plus.
Ability to travel onsite as required within a hybrid work model.
Knowledge of state or federal government processes and environments is highly desirable.
