We are seeking an experienced ATE Technician to support semiconductor test and validation activities in a production and lab environment. The role involves hands-on work with Automated Test Equipment (ATE), load boards, device interface hardware, and test systems to ensure smooth operations and high equipment uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operation of Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
- Assist with tester setup, docking/undocking, and hardware alignment
- Install and validate Load Boards and Device Interface Boards (DIBs)
- Perform continuity and isolation testing on test interfaces
- Troubleshoot load boards, sockets, and interface hardware issues
- Support preventive maintenance, calibration, and equipment diagnostics
- Load and execute test programs under engineering guidance
- Document maintenance activities and troubleshooting results
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and vendors for issue resolution
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience in semiconductor test or ATE environments
- Hands-on experience with ATE systems, load boards, DIBs, and test sockets
- Knowledge of semiconductor handlers and test interfaces
- Experience with continuity/isolation testing and hardware troubleshooting
- Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work onsite in a lab or manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Teradyne or Advantest platforms
- Exposure to SoC testing or semiconductor device characterization
- Experience with preventive maintenance and calibration activities
- Vendor coordination experience for repairs and support
