This position is responsible for the implementation of new or updating of existing business systems and processes to drive improvements across the Insurance Management Team (IMT) within Revenue Operations. This role acts as an investigative and

supportive bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that we uncover opportunities to improve our systems and to understand the business impact of changes. The teammate in this role will bring demonstrated expertise in technology systems

innovation, including data-driven process improvement, change management, and/or value measurement, as well as top-tier facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills. This role may be considered hybrid and based out of our Denver WHQ and can be remote with approx. 25% travel for the right candidate.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Analysis & Technical:
  • Demonstrates understanding across a larger scope of business systems (multiple systems, multiple businesses using a system, multiple processes) including how data capture & processes across systems are interrelated.
  • Produces detailed system documentation including requirements, process flows, communications, use cases and user stories.
  • Performs analysis related to a system (ex. Assessing value or ROI of a change, sizing for fixed and funded programs, system efficacy)
  • Translates complex data insights into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations for stakeholders to influence and inform business decisions.
  • Independently produces and distributes recurring reports related to a business system or process using proficiency in tools such as Excel and SQL
  • Continuously learns new system capabilities and recommends how to leverage them.

Problem Solving:
  • Liaise between business stakeholders and IT to ensure that the system is functioning and enhancements are driving business value: supports detailed investigations and prioritization of business needs ahead of IT work.
  • Solves problems related to a business system by outlining potential drivers and forming a hypothesis-based approach. Guides business in identifying root cause and ideating towards initiation of system solution. Aids businesses in forming alternative solutions either while waiting for enhancement lifecycle or in pursuit of an ideal technology solution.
  • Conduct discovery on new projects and support product initiatives, laying the groundwork for successful implementation.
  • Makes recommendations and synthesizes takeaways from visualizing process flows across multiple systems or businesses.
  • Understands the SDLC and supports business in progressing through the process.
  • Understand the implications of the overall project on broader business objectives or other business lanes. Proactively raises awareness when issues arise that impact their work stream.
  • Develops requirements by collaborating with business leaders and translating their needs across multiple business systems or processes.
  • Business lead on IT comms for code and data readiness; aiding as Business Facilitator for UAT and production Validation.
  • Project & Stakeholder management:
  • Effectively leads working sessions & facilitates interactions between business teams and IT (ex. requirement review sessions, project status meetings & post-deployment feedback sessions).
  • Directs & executes on next steps to progress own work stream; identifies & recommends new opportunities to improve existing processes.
  • Understands the Software Development Life Cycle and supports the business team in progressing through the process.
  • Utilizes tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Microsoft Office to maintain up to date documentation of data/process dependencies across multiple projects, business lanes of systems (ex. BRD, use cases, process flows) and to facilitate daily communication
  • Proactively communicates around deadlines & roadblocks and works to resolve issues.
  • Builds collaborative and influential relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Commitment to DaVita's Core Values
  • Knowledge & experience working within the Software Development Life Cycle required
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst and/or Systems Analyst or in a related role, required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
  • Prior experience in project management required, experience with enterprise-level initiatives, strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in technology/product strategy, and/or consulting, or a similar role supporting enterprise-level initiatives, preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Prior experience leading change management initiatives for technology implementation, preferred

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and influence others at a variety of levels to include business stakeholders, vendors, technical teams, and leadership.
  • A drive to investigate and get to the heart of a problem, then work to solve it. Resourcefulness and agility-the ability to find and implement effective, creative solutions despite time or resource constraints
  • The ability to use data to understand and solve problems and assess value to the business.
  • Effectively manage time and task completion with minimal support and oversight. Develop and complete collateral in a timely fashion. Ability to manage a plan and integrate across work streams.
  • Proficiency in one or more analytical or report building tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, preferred
  • Experience in healthcare and/or revenue cycle preferred

The Salary Range for the role is $57,784.00 - $85,000.00 per year.
