Senior Data & Analytics Engineer

What the client is looking for

A hands-on Senior Data / BI professional who understands business requirements, enterprise data structures, and Power BI reporting.

This is not a pure Data Architect or dashboard developer role. The candidate must be able to independently understand business needs, design reporting solutions, and execute them.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong hands-on Power BI development.
  • Advanced SQL.
  • Dimensional data modeling.
  • Enterprise reporting framework design.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and data governance.
  • Data quality, data duplication, and single source of truth concepts.
  • Business requirements gathering and stakeholder management.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Planview / PPM reporting.
  • Oracle.
  • Azure DevOps.
  • EPMO / Enterprise Operations / Portfolio Management experience.

Financial services experience is a plus but not mandatory.

 

Ideal Candidate

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Able to independently interact with business stakeholders and translate requirements into reports.
  • Can identify data gaps, duplication, and architectural issues and recommend solutions.
  • Capable of both designing and building Power BI reports without constant guidance.
