Overview
Our Client is looking for a Junior IT Project Manager who will support in the planning, execution, and closing of various information technology projects within an organization. They work under the supervision of senior project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
Assisting in the development of project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
Coordinating project activities and resources to ensure that project milestones are met.
Tracking project progress and communicating updates to stakeholders.
Assisting in the identification and mitigation of project risks and issues.
Supporting the testing and implementation of IT solutions.
Documenting project activities, decisions, and outcomes.
Assisting in the development of project documentation, such as requirements documents and status reports.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Participating in project meetings and discussions to provide updates and insights.
Learning and applying project management methodologies and best practices..
Skills & Experience
BA/BS degree is preferred. However, candidates without a degree will be considered if they possess 8+ years of relevant experience.
3 5 years of practical experience as an IT Project Manager.
Mastery of MS Project and Microsoft 360 (with 3 5 years of application in an IT PM environment).
Strong background in Agile methodologies and proven success collaborating with IT stakeholders.
A PMP is not required, though candidates must demonstrate hands-on project management expertise.
