Our rapidly expanding insurance agency is looking for a full-time life insurance agent to join our team! You’ll grow a list of prospective clients, market our insurance products, showcase our offerings to new customers, and help policyholders navigate the claims process. Responsibilities:

  • Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience
  • Expand our prospective customer base and market our insurance products via including networking, referrals, cold calling, and various marketing strategies to bring in new business
  • Ensure all contracting paperwork is up to date while maintaining databases, records, and bookkeeping
  • Provide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintain existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry response, insurance eligibility, claim submissions questions concerning billing and insurance policies
  • Assist current policyholders during the insurance claims process while overseeing existing insurance claims
  • Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, continuing education, and monitor insurance portfolios to ensure mutual satisfaction
  • Attend training and obtain relevant licenses in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively and independentl.
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to develop relationships (i.e., “People Person") and a sincere desire to help others.

The commission for the role is around $75k to $95k if you hit the required goals, first year agents often make $99k in the year, with many averaging $125k in the first year.
