Job Overview

We are seeking highly driven and experienced Commercial Insurance Sales Hunters to drive new business growth within Commercial Insurance and Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance clients.

This role is focused on hunting new logos, building strategic client relationships, and selling IT services, digital transformation, cloud, data, AI/ML, Guidewire, and enterprise technology solutions to insurance organizations.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with commercial insurance carriers, brokers, MGAs, or InsurTech companies and possess a strong network within the insurance domain.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within Commercial Insurance and P&C clients.
  • Build strong relationships with CXOs, business leaders, and technology stakeholders.
  • Drive consultative selling for IT services, digital transformation, cloud, AI/ML, data engineering, and insurance platform modernization solutions.
  • Develop strategic account plans and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, and leadership teams to craft customized client solutions.
  • Lead RFP/RFI responses, proposal discussions, pricing negotiations, and contract closures.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Stay updated on insurance industry trends, digital initiatives, and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Commercial Insurance/P&C sales or business development.
  • Proven track record in hunting and acquiring new clients.
  • Strong understanding of Commercial Insurance processes and technology landscape.
  • Experience selling IT services, consulting, cloud, data, AI/ML, Guidewire, Duck Creek, or digital transformation solutions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to independently manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle.
  • Experience working with offshore/global delivery models is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network within Commercial Insurance carriers, brokers, MGAs, or InsurTech organizations.
  • Experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Policy Administration, Claims, Billing, or underwriting platforms.
  • Familiarity with insurance data, analytics, and modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
