Role Overview
The Integration Control Document (ICD) Lead is responsible for creating, authoring and/or contributing, and leading the development of Integration Control Documents across the Keystone ecosystem, including Icertis, Infor LN, CostPoint, and downstream systems. This role ensures integrations are clearly designed, consistently documented, technically accurate, and ready for build, test, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end development of Integration Control Documents (ICDs) for all inbound and outbound interfaces. Define and document: Source and target systems, Integration purpose and triggers/events, Data payloads and schemas, Field-level mappings and transformations, Error handling and retry logic, Security, authentication, and authorization, Performance and non-functional requirements, etc. Ensure ICDs align with approved solution design, business requirements, and architecture standards. Facilitate integration design working sessions and decision walkthroughs with the project team and Keystone SME. Resolve cross-system integration decisions and escalate risks or gaps as needed. Establish ICD standards, templates, and version control. Ensure ICDs are complete, technically accurate, consistent across systems and approved by the Sponsor Design Board prior to build. Serve as the design authority during integration build. Support developers during implementation and defect resolution. Support testing events that include integrations: System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, Performance Testing, and End-to-End Testing; including coordination of defect resolution. Facilitate cutover to production for integrations. Facilitate incident resolution post Go-Live. Develop playbooks and operational handoff documentation.
qualifications:
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in systems integration design.
- Demonstrated experience authoring and owning Integration Control Documents.
- Experience with middleware or integration platforms (MuleSoft, Infor ION Gateway)
- Strong understanding of API-based integrations (REST/SOAP), Event-driven integrations, Batch and file-based interfaces, etc.
- Strong data modeling and data mapping experience
- Ability to work across technical and business teams and drive decisions
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across contracts, finance, and IT stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Federal contracting or regulated environments.
- Hands-on SQL/data mapping experience.
