Cybersecurity IAM SailPoint Consultant

Role Overview

The SailPoint IAM/IGA Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, security teams, and application owners to ensure secure, compliant, and automated identity lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) or IdentityNow (IDN) including workflows, rules, roles, policies, and connectors.
• Design and develop IAM/IGA solutions covering user provisioning, de-provisioning, access request, certification, password management, and governance processes.
• Integrate SailPoint with various enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, JDBC, AD, LDAP, cloud systems, and custom connectors.
• Develop custom workflows, rules, tasks, forms, and SailPoint Beanshell scripts.
• Work on role engineering, access modeling, SoD (Segregation of Duties), and policy framework.
• Participate in requirement gathering, solution architecture, technical design documentation, and end-to-end implementation.
• Troubleshoot issues related to connectors, aggregation, provisioning, and workflow failures.
• Support upgrades, patches, and optimize performance of SailPoint environments.
• Work with security, audit, and compliance teams for SOX, GDPR, and audit requirements.
• Conduct UAT, user training, and provide post-production support.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow (minimum 2+ years).
• Strong experience in:
  • Java / Beanshell scripting
  • Workflows, rules, forms
  • Application onboarding
  • RBAC, ABAC, SoD
  • Connector configuration (AD, LDAP, DB, Cloud apps)
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management concepts:
  • Authentication & authorization
  • Identity lifecycle management
  • Privileged access concepts
• Experience working with REST APIs, SQL queries, and directory services.
• Ability to create technical designs, documentation, and solution diagrams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
