    • Review Technical Resource Manuals (TRMs) and perform engineering analysis, including savings replications and desk reviews, to validate measure assumptions and calculated savings.
    • Verify technical inputs using external sources (e.g., AHRI directories, ENERGY STAR databases) and document findings clearly and accurately.
    • Summarize analytical results, flag issues or risks, and communicate findings clearly to project managers, managers, and utility clients. Serving as a subject matter expert on the underlying analysis.
  • Prepare written reports and presentation materials and assist in the development of project deliverables.
    • Draft concise technical summaries, memos, and report sections that describe methodologies, assumptions, findings, and implications of EE and DR analysis.
    • Develop tables, charts, and dashboards (e.g., using Power BI and Power Query) to visualize program savings and performance results from tools such as Sightline DER.
    • Support the preparation of clients facing deliverables, presentations, and internal review materials by incorporating feedback and ensuring consistency with project objectives and utility requirements
  • Communicate analytical methods and results to clients.
    • Explain analytical approaches, savings methodologies, and key assumptions to utility clients in clear, non-technical language when appropriate.
    • Walk clients through dashboards, savings results, and program performance insights, responding to questions and clarifying implications for program design or planning.
    • Participate in meetings and calls to present findings, discuss results, and support informed decision making by project stakeholders
  • Justify and document technical decisions related to research, planning, and data analysis.
    • Document analytical methods, assumptions, and technical decisions to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and alignment with TRMs and program requirements.
    • Provide clear rationale for methodological choices, data sources, and savings calculations in written documentation and internal reviews.
    • Identify and communicate potential risks, limitations, or uncertainties in analyses and recommend mitigation strategies where appropriate
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to maximize productivity and cultivate future opportunities.
    • Support ongoing client relationships by delivering high quality, timely analysis and responding proactively to questions or requests.
    • Conduct program related research on EE and DR initiatives nationwide and summarize relevant findings to inform client discussions and internal strategy.
    • Collaborate effectively with project managers, managers, and clients to support project goals and identify opportunities for follow-up on work or expanded engagement.

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Public Policy, and Business or BS in a recognized engineering discipline from an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering program; and
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in consulting, strategy, or a related field.
