Job Title: Deployment Engineer (GPP SME) Location: Puerto Rico (Remote)
Job Description:
The Deployment Engineer / GPP SME will serve as the onsite subject-matter expert for Global Pay Plus (GPP).
Responsibilities include:
Act as the focal point for all GPP-related questions, issues and liaison between the customer and Finastra teams.
Participate in Low Level Design (LLD) and Interface Level Design (ILD) workshops and provide input on system and interface design, system integration and configuration.
Provide system and business configuration guidance and function as a configuration expert for the customer.
Triage GPP testing issues using logs, trace files and Oracle queries, and support SIT, UAT, NFT and production phases.
Lead customer calls to gather requirements, explain issues and solutions, provide status updates and outline next steps.
Triage production issues, recommend workarounds, support production upgrades and walk through technical and functional documentation.
Work independently to solve complex problems using knowledge of Linux administration, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Hadoop, MongoDB and virtual machines.
Utilize PAYplus USA and/or GFX software knowledge to support client implementations.
Experience required: 5 10 years in production support or platform engineering with strong expertise in GPP and the technologies listed above.
