Job Title: Warehouse Project Engineer
Pay Rate: $60 - 75/hr (DOE)
Location: Clayton , NC
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Contract (1 year with possible extension)
Schedule: M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Support the WH-IL team in transitioning from design-phase execution to field-based operations.
* Manage small- to medium-sized project scopes as a work package owner.
* Execute CQV activities including room qualifications and material handling equipment/process validation.
* Support automated warehouse systems including ASRS, AGVs, and AMRs.
* Contribute to large greenfield capital projects (large CapEx) from implementation through operational readiness.
* Apply Lean / Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization, process flow development, time studies, and resource mapping.
* Support operational and administrative deliverables of a complex nature within a cGMP warehouse environment.
* Collaborate with senior project staff on larger project initiatives and deliverables.
* Adapt procedures, processes, tools, and techniques to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks.
* Make sound operational decisions based on known alternatives and established processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor"s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline (preferred).
* Experience managing small to medium project scopes independently.
* CQV experience within pharmaceutical or cGMP environments (room qualifications, equipment validation, material handling systems).
* Experience working in automated warehouse environments (ASRS, AGVs, AMRs).
* Large-scale greenfield project experience (capital projects).
* Operational experience in material handling, logistics, or warehouse operations within an operating pharmaceutical environment.
* Lean / Six Sigma background with demonstrated process improvement experience.
* Strong understanding of cGMP warehouse operations.
* Ability to work independently as a self-starter in fast-paced environments.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan work, and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and documentation skills.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
* Broad theoretical knowledge with applicable business and operational experience.
* Ability to support senior staff on larger project components while independently owning smaller workstreams.
* Demonstrated subject matter expertise in warehouse operations and CQV execution.
* Proven ability to take initiative and adapt processes to meet project objectives.
