Job Description:

• The candidate will be an expert Power BI reporting related engineering with deep data analysis and curation experience for IT data and information for a large, complex effort.

• 6 to 8 years of experience
• Extensive Power BI analytics reporting skillset
• Data engineering using Excel
• Data transformation
• Analytical skills, able to utilize deduction and logic

• Tableau

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

• 5 plus years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

• This candidate is specific to BI and analytics for a data center modernization and simplification (DCMS) program that they'll have deliverables on through Q2 of 2027.
• Manage a massive application migration from current data center to new generation data centers for hundreds of apps and thousands of components.
• Requires a lot of data manipulation to understand the scope and report on the progress.
• Must be capable of creating dynamic dashboards, have a background in complex data interpretation and subsequent creation views for visualization.
• Assumption is Power BI is more recent experience, prior experience in Tableau helps to speak to depth of experience.

• Contract - 9 months, possibility to extend
• RTO schedule - 3 days in office MANDATORY (preferably within Monday-Thursday)
• Interview process: 2 consecutive 30 minute virtual interviews

Pay Range: $65.00 - $70.00/hr on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
