Role Overview
The Workday HCM & Learning Architect serves as a strategic techno-functional advisor and solution architect, driving the design, development, and optimization of Workday HCM and Workday Learning solutions, enhanced by Sana UI Cloud capabilities.
This role focuses on end-to-end solution architecture, experience transformation, intelligent learning enablement, and scalable configuration design—ensuring alignment with HR digital strategy, workforce transformation, and user experience innovation.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Advisory
• Act as solution architect for Workday HCM and Workday Learning implementations and enhancements.
• Advise HR and business leaders on digital HR strategy, workforce transformation, and intelligent learning ecosystems.
• Define scalable, future-ready architecture leveraging Workday native capabilities and Sana UI Cloud enhancements.
• Design governance frameworks for configuration, security, reporting, and data integrity.
Workday Learning & Talent Development
• Architect and configure Workday Learning, including learning campaigns, content management, certifications, blended learning, and skill-based learning models.
• Design learning journeys aligned with competency frameworks and talent strategies.
• Enable AI-driven learning discovery and personalized learning paths through Sana UI Cloud.
• Integrate learning with Talent, Performance, Succession, and Skills Cloud.
Sana UI Cloud Experience Enablement
• Design modern, intuitive HR and Learning user experiences using Sana UI Cloud.
• Build intelligent UI extensions and conversational interfaces that enhance employee self-service and manager workflows.
• Develop experience-layer optimizations without compromising Workday core integrity.
• Enable guided workflows, AI-powered recommendations, and knowledge discovery.
Development & Configuration Leadership
• Lead configuration and build across Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, and Learning modules.
• Architect integrations between Workday, learning content providers, payroll, and downstream enterprise systems.
• Define reporting and analytics strategy for workforce insights, compliance, and learning effectiveness.
• Lead prototype development, design workshops, and solution demos.
• Drive release adoption strategy for new Workday features and innovation roadmap.
Global & Compliance Enablement
• Architect localization and statutory compliance solutions for US, Mexico, UK, and India.
• Support multi-country learning governance, compliance training frameworks, and audit readiness.
• Define global security model and role-based access architecture.
Transformation & Innovation
• Lead HR technology transformation initiatives.
• Enable skills-based workforce planning using Workday Skills Cloud.
• Drive automation of HR and Learning processes.
• Provide thought leadership on AI-enabled HR and intelligent learning platforms.

Required Expertise
Workday Expertise
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
o Core HCM
o Workday Learning
• Deep knowledge of Workday Security Framework and Reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite).
• Experience with Workday Skills Cloud and Talent Marketplace is preferred.
• Experience designing enterprise-level integrations (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors).
Sana UI Cloud
• Experience designing or implementing Sana UI Cloud enhancements within Workday environments.
• Knowledge of AI-powered search, conversational UX, and workflow extensions.
• Experience building intuitive HR digital front doors and intelligent learning interfaces.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• Workday certification in at least two modules (HCM and/or Learning preferred).
• 5+ years of Workday experience with 3+ years in solution architecture or development leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end Workday implementations (Design → Build → Test → Deploy).
• Strong advisory and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience presenting architectural roadmaps to senior leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution design skills.
