SAP BTP Technical Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deploy applications using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and the Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
- Implement RAP behaviour definitions, CDS views, service bindings, service definitions, draft handling and transactional processing.
- Build end-to-end OData V4 services with Fiori Elements and UI5.
- Develop reusable CDS artefacts, business logic and extensibility frameworks within the BTP ecosystem.
- Integrate BTP applications with S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), Event Mesh, Destination Service and other BTP services.
- Optimise performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure compliance with SAP clean-core and cloud-ready coding practices.
- Collaborate with architects, functional consultants and DevOps teams to design secure and scalable solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, design specifications and contribute to architecture discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in SAP RAP (managed and unmanaged scenarios), CDS Views, annotations, behaviours, metadata extensions, OData V4 services and Fiori Elements consumption.
- Experience integrating BTP applications with S/4HANA, CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Destination Service and IAS/IPS.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native principles, multitenant applications and deployment on SAP BTP.
- Experience with Git-enabled Change and Transport System (gCTS) or ABAP Git.
- Essential Skills: SAP BTP, ABAP, RAP, UI5, Fiori, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
- Experience required: 8-10 years.
