Description
We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to provide dependable end-user technology support for a transport organization based in Tempe, Arizona. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone who combines strong technical troubleshooting ability with a service-focused approach and clear communication. The role supports desktop environments across a fast-moving enterprise setting and requires sound judgment, organization, and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on support for desktop and workstation issues, resolving hardware, operating system, and connectivity problems in a timely manner.
Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows environments, including user access, system settings, and core desktop functionality across enterprise devices.
Support identity and access-related tasks within Active Directory, including account maintenance and policy-based configuration activities.
Assist with desktop deployment processes such as imaging, configuration, software installation, and lifecycle maintenance for end-user equipment.
Maintain reliable operation of Office 365, Outlook, and related productivity tools by diagnosing user issues and applying effective solutions.
Communicate technical guidance and security-related practices in a clear manner to employees with varying levels of technical knowledge.
Partner with IT operations teams and business stakeholders to coordinate support activities, prioritize issues, and improve service delivery.
Contribute to change-related tasks, process improvements, and project-driven desktop support initiatives while managing multiple requests efficiently.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience supporting PC desktops and workstation environments in an enterprise setting that requires strong attention to detail.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and broader Windows desktop administration.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory for user and device support activities.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve desktop hardware and peripheral issues.
Experience with desktop imaging, device setup, and standardized deployment practices.
Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, Office 365, and Windows network configurations.
Ability to manage competing priorities independently while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization.
