Practice Overview

The Cardiovascular Group within our organization is a regional cardiology practice consisting of a 10-physician team based in Muskegon, delivering comprehensive cardiovascular services to the lakeshore and nearby areas. This group is affiliated with our Cardiology division in West Michigan and is involved in the Cardiovascular Network of West Michigan, a collaborative effort between our organization and a leading health institution.

Our facility in Muskegon also boasts a robust Cardio-Thoracic program that enhances the Structural Health initiative and the expanding Electrophysiology services.

We advocate for a strong interdisciplinary care model, incorporating Advanced Practice Professionals, Registered Nurses, and Medical Assistants to support our healthcare providers.

Services Offered Include:

Cardiac Health Management:

  • Management of arrhythmias
  • Care for cardiomyopathy
  • Comprehensive consultations, assessments, and personalized treatment plans
  • Congestive Heart Failure Clinic
  • Coumadin testing and education
  • Lipid management
  • Management of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
  • Full-service pacemaker and implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator Clinic with remote monitoring
  • Pre-surgical evaluations
  • Valvular Heart Disease care

Hospital Management Services:

  • Cardiac catheterizations
  • Coronary angioplasty and stenting (PCI)
  • Electrical cardioversions
  • Emergency angioplasty for heart attacks
  • Inpatient consultations

Qualifications

  • Physicians: Must be board certified in a relevant clinical specialty or board eligible, with a commitment to achieve board certification within five years of the start date (unless otherwise mandated by medical staff bylaws).
  • Possession of an active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one).
  • DEA license required.
  • BLS certification (must be maintained).
