Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO (Controlling) Consultant for an ongoing SAP implementation project. This role will support the migration of a newly acquired healthcare company from a legacy system to SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in SAP Finance and solid working knowledge of Controlling (CO), with a strong background in FICO master data migration.

Responsibilities

• Deep functional knowledge of finance, accounting principles, and cost management.
• Act as the primary SME for SAP FI and CO modules, including Product Costing, Material Ledger, CCA, COPA and GL, AP, AR, AA and Banking
• Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into robust SAP solutions.
• Define and enforce process governance, financial controls, and compliance standards.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, automation opportunities, and optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop RICEFW objects and ensure solution quality.
• Provide strategic guidance during S/4HANA migrations
• Develop and maintain documentation, including process maps, SOPs, and training materials.
• Experience with S/4HANA Finance, Universal Journal, and Fiori apps.

Must Have

• 10+ years of overall SAP FICO experience

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA)

• Working knowledge of SAP CO (Product costing, Cost/Profit Centers, Internal Orders)

• Proven expertise in FICO master data migration activities

• Functional understanding of end-to-end implementation lifecycles

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Nice to Have

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration projects

• Knowledge of integration with other modules (MM, PS, SD)

• Experience with remote teams and offshore collaboration

• Previous work experience with Cognizant or similar consulting firms

• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field

• SAP certifications preferred
