Project Overview:
We are seeking a Senior IT Technical Business Analyst to support a large-scale modernization initiative focused on improving operational efficiency through digitization, automation, and adoption of AI and emerging technologies. The project involves assessing existing manual processes and identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery, data quality, and decision-making.
Scope of Work:
The Business Analyst will conduct a comprehensive review of current processes, identify modernization opportunities, and recommend practical strategies for improvement. The role includes collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams to align solutions with organizational standards and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Review & Modernization:
- Analyze current manual processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Recommend process re-engineering using Lean Six Sigma principles
- Identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and AI adoption
2. Project Planning & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Develop and maintain a detailed work plan including timelines and resources
- Conduct process mapping and gap analysis across multiple business units
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment with standards and systems
3. Evaluation & Analysis:
- Develop baseline metrics such as cycle time, effort, error rates, and volume
- Create end-to-end process maps and identify pain points and root causes
- Assess feasibility and alignment of modernization opportunities
- Estimate potential efficiency gains and performance improvements
4. Reporting & Recommendations:
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations
- Deliver a phased roadmap for modernization and technology adoption
- Provide actionable insights and validate recommendations with stakeholders
5. Change Management Support:
- Support change management initiatives for successful adoption of new processes and technologies
Deliverables:
- Work Plan outlining activities, milestones, and resources
- Baseline Assessment Report with process maps and metrics
- Modernization Evaluation Framework
- Modernization Opportunities Report with categorized improvements
- Technology Adoption Roadmap for AI and emerging technologies
- Final Operational Modernization Report for executive stakeholders
- Change Management Support Plan
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience as a Senior IT Business Analyst in large-scale transformation projects
- Expertise in process analysis, process mapping, and gap analysis
- Experience applying Lean Six Sigma principles
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to develop executive-level reports and strategic recommendations
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with digital transformation, automation, and AI initiatives
- Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and governance frameworks
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
