Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Consultant to join our growing consulting team. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional expertise in the Workday HCM modules and experience in end-to-end implementations, enhancements, support, and client-facing consulting engagements.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient Workday HCM solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support Workday HCM implementations, enhancements, and support activities
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to HR processes and Workday HCM functionality
• Configure and maintain Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting, and Performance
• Work closely with business users to design and optimize HR business processes within Workday
• Perform system configuration, testing, validation, and deployment activities
• Support integrations, security, reporting, and data conversion activities as needed
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide timely resolutions
• Conduct workshops, client meetings, and user training sessions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including integrations, reporting, payroll, and technical teams
• Create functional documentation, business process documents, and testing scripts
• Participate in project planning, requirement discussions, and solution design sessions
• Ensure adherence to Workday best practices and implementation standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience working as a Workday HCM Consultant
• Strong functional knowledge of Workday HCM modules
• Experience with:
- Core HCM
- Compensation
- Absence Management
- Benefits
- Talent & Performance
- Recruiting
• Experience in Workday configuration, business process setup, and tenant management
• Knowledge of Workday security, reporting, and integrations concepts
• Experience working on end-to-end Workday implementation or support projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work independently in a client-facing consulting environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Current Workday HCM Certification
• Experience working in consulting organizations
• Exposure to Workday integrations and reporting
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong presentation and client communication skills
