About the Role

This role focuses on designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions to validate complex system requirements. The position involves building scalable automation frameworks, supporting CI/CD-driven testing workflows, and collaborating with engineers to ensure high-quality system performance. The role also requires analysis of test results, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with test leads, developers, and systems engineers to design test cases and automated validation workflows.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test frameworks for scalability and long-term maintainability.
  • Execute automated regression, integration, and performance tests and document results.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues discovered during automated or manual testing.
  • Support continuous testing practices in CI/CD environments using modern automation tools.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, automated scripts, and verification outcomes.
  • Analyze test output using automated tools to evaluate system performance and identify gaps.
  • Contribute to refining and advancing automated testing methodologies and best practices.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with extensive related experience (or equivalent advanced degree experience levels).
  • Hands-on experience designing, developing, and executing automated test cases.
  • Strong experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and object-oriented languages such as Java or C#.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar test automation platforms.
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
Nice to Have Qualifications
  • Advanced scripting expertise in Python or Java.
  • Experience with Gherkin/BDD methodologies and frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
  • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) or real-time test environments.
  • Experience testing in containerized environments.
  • Familiarity with static and dynamic code analysis tools (SonarQube, Fortify, Coverity).
  • Exposure to MBSE tools and processes.
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
