Position: Systems Integration & Test Engineer

Location: Orlando, FL

About the Role

We are seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain advanced test solutions for complex systems and subsystems. In this role, you will translate customer requirements into effective testing strategies while balancing technical, schedule, and cost considerations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless hardware/software integration and successful system validation.

This position offers diverse work across RF, analog, digital, electronic warfare, electro-optics, and communication technologies. You will lead Test Program Set (TPS) development efforts, drive technical execution, and collaborate with Engineering teams to deliver high-quality test solutions.

Responsibilities

Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain system and subsystem integration and test solutions.

Analyze customer requirements and develop corresponding system-level test strategies.

Establish functional and technical specifications, define I/O parameters, and resolve hardware/software interface issues.

Develop and maintain test procedures, documentation, and testing standards.

Coordinate subsystem and system testing efforts with internal teams and stakeholders.

Execute testing activities using automated test systems and electronic lab equipment.

Lead a team of TPS developers and ensure successful delivery of tailored test solutions.

Conduct root-cause analysis, review testability requirements, and contribute to design improvements.

Perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive evaluation and validation reports.

Write discrepancy reports and perform regression testing to verify fixes across software, components, subsystems, and systems.

Develop automated test programs using languages such as PAWS ATLAS, NI TestStand, and LabWindows/CVI.

Minimum Qualifications

4-6 years of experience in a similar Systems Integration, Test Engineering, or related role.

Strong experience with:

Electronic assembly and electrical testing

Software design and development

Test development and execution

Requirements development

Software testing and fault insertion

Systems analysis & design

Hardware/software integration

Hands-on experience using standard electronic lab equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, DMMs, etc.).

Project leadership or technical leadership experience in a test development environment.

Ability to collaborate with Hardware, Software, and Systems Engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with test equipment design (2-4 years).

Background developing automated test programs on advanced test platforms.

Strong communication and documentation skills.
