Job Title: QA Automation Engineer (Selenium)

Location: Pasadena, CA (3 Days/Week)

Exp Level: Min 10 Years.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled QA Automation Engineer with Selenium expertise to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Selenium-based automation, test framework design, and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
Build and maintain automation frameworks (Hybrid / Data-driven / POM).
Develop and execute test cases for functional, regression, and smoke testing.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual QA teams.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
Identify, log, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Continuously improve automation coverage and framework efficiency.

Required Skills

Core Technical Skills

Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver
Proficiency in Java / Python / C# (at least one)
Experience in TestNG / JUnit / PyTest / NUnit
Strong understanding of OOPS concepts
Experience with Maven / Gradle
Knowledge of Git version control
Experience in writing XPath and CSS selectors
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

Good to Have

Experience with Cucumber (BDD framework)
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
API automation (Rest Assured)
Database validation using SQL
Performance testing basics (JMeter)
Exposure to Docker
Experience with cloud testing platforms (Browser Stack, Sauce Labs)
