Job Title: Workforce Program Analyst

Location: Cranston, RI

Duration: Long-Term Contract

We are seeking a Workforce Program Analyst to support workforce development and transformation initiatives within a federally funded rural health program. The role will provide analytical, administrative, programmatic, and project support across grant and contract administration, research, data analysis, reporting, project tracking, and stakeholder engagement.

< data-end="574" data-start="549">Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Administration

  • Coordinate and support workforce development initiatives and related programs.
  • Maintain workplans, timelines, performance trackers, reporting processes, and program documentation.
  • Monitor project milestones, deliverables, objectives, and performance.
  • Support meetings, communications, follow-ups, and day-to-day program coordination.
  • Identify and escalate implementation, compliance, reporting, and performance issues.

Grant & Contract Administration

  • Support administration and monitoring of grants, contracts, subrecipient activities, and vendor deliverables.
  • Track deliverables, milestones, performance measures, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized grant and program records.
  • Ensure activities align with applicable federal and state requirements.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, organize, analyze, and report program and workforce data.
  • Support program evaluation and performance measurement activities.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, tracking tools, and program documentation.
  • Analyze trends, issues, and opportunities for program improvement.
  • Present findings and relevant information to leadership and stakeholders.

Research & Program Development

  • Conduct research related to workforce development, rural health, healthcare, education, grants, policies, and programs.
  • Research best practices to support program planning and implementation.
  • Develop program materials, guidance documents, reports, implementation processes, and other written deliverables.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate with employers, educational institutions, healthcare providers, government agencies, community organizations, and workforce partners.
  • Facilitate meetings, communications, action-item tracking, and stakeholder follow-up.
  • Support collaboration across workforce, healthcare, education, and related initiatives.

The position may support initiatives involving:

Education

  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Health Policy, Public Policy, Public Administration, Business Administration, Education, Human Resources, Social Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting workforce development, healthcare, public health, or government programs.
  • Experience with project coordination, grant/contract administration, reporting, and program documentation.
  • Strong analytical, research, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and community partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, reporting tools, project trackers, and standard office applications.
