Senior Software ArchitectLocation: Chicago, USYears of Experience: 10-15 YearsJob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Architect to conceptualize and design scalable, high-performance software solutions that align with our ''Engineering First'' philosophy and long-term business objectives. The ideal candidate will lead technology initiatives, enforce security and compliance standards, and provide mentorship to engineering teams.Responsibilities:Architect and design software solutions that are scalable and high-performing.Lead the evaluation and selection of modern technology stacks, with a focus on AWS Cloud services, microservices, and event-driven architectures.Enforce ''Level 3'' security standards and data privacy protocols to ensure compliance with banking regulations and SOC 2.Standardize CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices to enhance automation and reduce technical debt.Provide technical mentorship and conduct code reviews for cross-functional engineering teams.Act as the primary technical liaison between executive leadership and engineering teams, translating complex business needs into actionable technical roadmaps.Mandatory Skills:Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services.Proven expertise in microservices and event-driven architectures.Strong understanding of security standards and compliance, particularly in banking and SOC 2.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with Agile methodologies.Experience in mentoring and leading engineering teams.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Qualifications:Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.10-15 years of experience in software architecture and design.Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment.
