Job Title: Network & Hosting Infrastructure Specialist
Duration: 3+ Months (Onsite)
Location: Westerville, OH 43082

Job Summary:
Network & Hosting Infrastructure Specialist responsible for troubleshooting network/server connectivity and credential issues, managing infrastructure discovery and scanning, and supporting ServiceNow ITOM/CMDB. Requires strong networking and server knowledge, experience with SNMP, SSH, WMI, WinRM, VMware/Hyper-V, and scripting in PowerShell or Python.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve credential issues across network devices and server infrastructure using SNMP, SSH, WMI, WinRM, etc.
• Manage and validate access to network and hosting environments to ensure complete infrastructure scanning coverage.
• Triage and diagnose connectivity and authentication errors across routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and server platforms.
• Collaborate with network and hosting teams to maintain accurate credential stores and access policies.
• Support Service Graph connector configurations to ensure proper data flow from infrastructure sources.
• Manage and optimize discovery schedules according to infrastructure maintenance windows and scanning requirements.
• Document credential management processes, known infrastructure issues, and resolution procedures.
• Provide SME expertise on network topology, device configurations, and server environments.
• Support broader ServiceNow Modernization program objectives as required.

Skills:

• CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification
• PowerShell or Python scripting skills
• Experience with infrastructure discovery or asset scanning tools
• Familiarity with CMDB concepts and Configuration Item (CI) classification
• Enterprise-scale infrastructure experience with diverse device types
• Experience working within ITIL-aligned processes
• Prior experience with ServiceNow ITOM Visibility (Discovery) is beneficial 

Education:

• Strong network infrastructure knowledge: routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Strong server/hosting knowledge: Windows Server and Linux/Unix
• VMware and Hyper-V virtualization experience
• Hands-on credential management across network and server devices
• Knowledge of SNMP v1/v2c/v3, SSH, and Telnet
• Knowledge of WMI, WinRM, and NetBIOS
• Enterprise connectivity and authentication troubleshooting
• Knowledge of IP address management, network segmentation, and firewall rules
• Ability to work independently, triage issues, and escalate appropriately
