Title: Senior Systems Engineer
Duration: 6-12 Month Contract
Location: Dallas, TX 75247
Pay: $35-40/hr.
Work model: On-site

Work Experience:
5-10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or cloud support environments.
Strong experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments, including design, deployment, and ongoing administration.
Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) implementations and support.
Experience administering and supporting Intune and Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
Experience supporting Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
Background supporting Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint) in an enterprise environment.
Experience working in Managed Services Provider (MSP) or consulting environments preferred.
Proven experience supporting multiple client environments simultaneously.
Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, networking, identity, and governance.
Experience deploying and supporting Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
Advanced knowledge of Intune for device management and endpoint configuration.
Strong experience with Entra ID (Azure AD) including identity, access, and security management.
In-depth knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 services.
Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and administration tasks.
Experience troubleshooting Tier 2/3 infrastructure, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Familiarity with security best practices, endpoint protection, and compliance in Microsoft ecosystems.
Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and documentation skills.
Excellent communication, customer service, and client-facing abilities.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or M365 certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 2/3 support across cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments.
Administer and support Microsoft Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
Manage and maintain Intune and Entra ID configurations, policies, and access controls.
Support and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and cloud-related technical issues.
Develop and implement PowerShell scripts to automate processes and improve efficiency.
Work directly with clients to provide technical support, guidance, and infrastructure recommendations.
Support multiple client environments within a managed services or consulting framework.
Document systems, configurations, and processes to maintain operational standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to design scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
Assist with migrations, cloud transformations, and system integrations.
